I'm sure this is to come in the final game but perhaps a suggestion would be to have the shuttle missions accessible earlier by lowering the crew level requirements. I didn't have the feeling that I get in the earlier game examples of the "next project" or the next area that really needs my focus. With nothing really to build and the colonists levelling up slowly due to a lack of completable jobs, I felt like I was twiddling my thumbs at points. The demo did have me speeding up time as I was waiting for a colonist to level up so I could research the later techs to have any form of game progress. and, overall, I think the bones are there. I'm a fan of the genre including games like Dwarf Fortress, Banished etc. The various wall and floor designs were in-keeping and the buildable objects all looked good!
